This 11” x 17” art print preserves the unmistakable look and spirit of the film’s vintage home-video advertising while presenting the complete design in a bold, newly revised form. The branding of the long-defunct Magnum Video and Magnum Entertainment has been replaced with Frightmare Entertainment, reflecting the film’s current home while honoring its VHS-era history.
The artwork places the helmeted killer front and center on a deserted highway, gripping a blood-spattered pneumatic nail gun connected to its bright yellow coiled air hose. Two victims lie beneath the killer’s boots as blood spreads across the pavement. A glowing full moon, dark mountain silhouettes and an intense blue-and-purple night sky create the perfect backdrop for the film’s unforgettable camouflaged slasher.
Above the scene, the Nail Gun Massacre title explodes from the artwork in enormous yellow and red lettering, with the words “Nail Gun” constructed from oversized golden nails. The film’s classic taglines—“It’s Cheaper than a Chainsaw!” and “A Very Penetrating Story!”—complete the unapologetically outrageous video-store presentation.

This newly updated edition is based on the original poster created to promote Nail Gun Massacre during the video-store era. The composition, title treatment and memorable taglines retain the character of the original campaign, while the entire design has been refreshed with richer color, sharper detail and a more dramatic presentation.
The original Magnum Video and Magnum Entertainment branding has also been replaced by the Frightmare Entertainment logo, connecting the movie’s home-video beginnings with its present-day legacy.

ABOUT THE MOVIE
Nail Gun Massacre is a fiercely independent 1985 Texas slasher film written and produced by Terry Lofton and directed by Lofton and Bill Leslie. Filmed on a shoestring budget at locations around the Dallas area, including Combine and Seagoville, the movie captures the raw regional character of independent 1980s horror.
Following a brutal attack at a construction site, a mysterious killer dressed in camouflage and a black motorcycle helmet begins stalking victims with a pneumatic nail gun. Blending revenge, graphic kills, dark humor and memorable one-liners, Nail Gun Massacre became a cult favorite through its home-video releases.
Its unusual weapon-wielding killer, handmade production style, outrageous advertising and unmistakable Texas atmosphere have helped it endure among fans of regional horror, VHS collecting and ’80s slasher cinema.
