Own a rare piece of Italian horror history with this original U.S. theatrical one-sheet for Guardian of Hell (1985), the American theatrical title for Bruno Mattei's cult horror film The Other Hell (L'altro inferno).
Released in Italy in 1981 and brought to U.S. theaters in 1985 under the title Guardian of Hell, this atmospheric supernatural horror film was directed by legendary Italian exploitation filmmaker Bruno Mattei, who was credited under the pseudonym Stefan Oblowsky. The film has since become a favorite among fans of Italian horror, Eurocult cinema, and the infamous "nunsploitation" subgenre.
Unlike modern reproductions, this is an authentic vintage U.S. theatrical one-sheet measuring approximately 27" x 41", printed for theatrical exhibition during the film's original American release.
Featuring striking artwork by C.W. Taylor, the poster depicts a storm-shrouded church emerging from darkness with glowing demonic eyes below and the unforgettable tagline:
"IT HAS AWAKENED!"
This alternate-title poster is significantly scarcer than posters using the film's more familiar title, The Other Hell, making it an outstanding addition to any collection of vintage horror, Italian exploitation cinema, or Bruno Mattei memorabilia.
